How to Draw Turtles

Firstly, I would like to show some types of turtles, as a start in this tutorial. Not all of them, but a few example, that they outfit how various. You can see here a normal turtle (1) a sea turtle (2), a galapagos turtle (3) and an aligator turtle

Here a little help, that you can imagiane a turtle how looks like in other and other view. Not too difficult, but you need to know. (If you have a live reference, I think you should sometimes learn her/his movements and the details on her/his body)

They are have a lot of various back design, it's really hard to choose sometimes. But you need to know, that what kind of turtle, what you want to draw, and that's type what kind of design have on his back. These are just few tip, if you draw a rando

We are here in the "How to Draw turtles" part! Firstly, draw the base lines of the turtle.

Firstly, draw the base lines of the first part: the head, the neck, and the first two legs. This is really simple, and have a simple base forms too.

Now draw some line, what are separate these parts from eachother!

Draw the head's details, as the nose, the eye, and the mouth. It's really simple part!

And now, draw some spot, that the turtle base body have some design on his skin too! Not must, but it's seems good.

And now, the first part's end, draw the little lines as the little details of his body. As their skin not clean, they are have a lot of furrow.

And now, here we are in the second big part, the back! Firstly, draw the back's base form, it's looks like a half ball.

Draw the lines on the back, what are separate the back's design lines.

And here we go, you can draw now the design lines of his back! I drawed a not too hard design, but you can draw, as you would like!

And here the last part. His stomach, legs, and little tail too. I drawed them together, because this is a really little part, and not too hard, you can draw this easily!

And the last part is, that you can draw the details and the furrows too on his legs, and stomach! Just as you would like to draw, I'm sure, your turtle will be really good!
