How to Draw Kendrick Lamar

For step one we will start off by drawing the guides for the face and head. Inside the shape draw the facial guidelines.

Okay, so here you will start to sketch out Lamar's face shape which is jagged because of the facial hair on his face and head. Do the best you can in this step, the next one should be a bit easier.

Using the facial guidelines draw the bridge of the nose and then the full set of lips. Also, add a chin bump line under the bottom lip.

All we will do here is draw out the shapes of the eyes. The lining should be thick because Lamar's eyes are kind of dark.

Sketch out the eyebrows and then the eyeballs. Once that is done you can draw the bags under the eyes as well as some shading.

Moving on, draw Lamar's nose and add some dimpling to it. When that is done you can sketch out the beard lining and then add some scratching lines to form the mustache.

Draw the jagged lining for the shape of the head and hairstyle, and that's pretty much it for this step.

Add some definition lines to create the cornrow effect. When that is done draw out his ears too.

Next, draw the shoulders, shirt collar and then the creases in the clothes or shirt. Erase the mistakes along with the facial guidelines.

That's it, you are all done. Now go ahead and color Lamar in.

Description: I know the video is up for this rapper/entertainer, but I also wanted to make the step by step tutorials in case some of you out there didn't have fast internet to watch videos or whatever your challenges may be. So, having said that here is how to draw Kendrick Lamar, step by step. For those of you who don't know, Kendrick is a rapper based out of California. He has done multiple works with other artists such as N.E.R.D and Massive Attack. Some of his inspirations before becoming a rapper were Tupac Shakur, Biggie Smalls, Dr. Dre and others. His style is pretty good, I could listen to it and jam out. This lesson should be pretty cut and dry. All you have to do is follow the steps and you're good. If you are a novice artist, take your time and you may find that you will have to start over a couple times.
