Step 2.
Here you will sketch out the beginning concept to the hockey helmet starting with the head padding, and the chin strap. Once you get all the parts drawn in this step, you can proceed to step two.

Step 6.
Remember that empty spot that I told you to leave behind? Well, you can draw out the hockey stick to fill in the gaps. Next, draw out the lower half of the body starting with the hips, and thighs.

Continue to sketch out the hockey player's legs and be sure to make the lining with plenty of wrinkles. The pants should look sort of baggy.

For the last drawing step, all you have to do is draw out the ice skates, and be sure to add the laces. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Step 9.
Here is what your player looks like when you are all done. Now you can color him in, or even use the colors of your favorite hockey team.

Description:
A long time ago I meant to submit a drawing lesson on a hockey player, but I always somehow get side tracked and wind up doing something else. Today I will be fulfilling what I wanted to do since last year and you will finally get a chance to "
draw a hockey player
", step by step. You have to forgive my hockey player design because I am not a fan of the sport, or know anything about it. I just wanted to draw a simple concept and to tell you the truth I was being guided by my brother who also knows nothing about the sport of hockey, or how the game is played. I did do some research on the sport and found out that hockey has been being played by humans since before 1272 BC. Places like Egypt, Ireland, Greece, and China, all have some history as playing a sport very similar to that of hockey. There are several different types of hockey that is played; field hockey, ice hockey, roller hockey, sledge hockey, street hockey, and unicycle hockey which consists of players riding a unicycle. Even though I’m not a big fan of the game, I still enjoyed drawing this hockey player. I still have one more lesson on the way for ya’ll so try and stay tuned in!
