1

Start by drawing a simple cross like so and then draw the arched lines for the wings.

2

Use the cross lined guides help you draw the cross. This design or style can be whet you want it to be, I choose a medieval looking cross style.

3

Draw a border around the edges of the cross like you are making an inner trace of the cross shape.

4

Up next, start the wing drawing process. These shapes of the wing arm and feathers are a bit like bone style. Draw the base of the arm wing bone, then draw in the two layer pattern of feathers. This will form the wing.

5

Lastly, draw the right wing the very same way you did the left wing. Erase your mistakes and even the guides you drew.

6

And here is the line art when you are done. Chose what you want to color in as next.

Description: If you thought that one tattoo was going to be good enough for the day, I'm sorry, but you are wrong. I have yet another concept that I have been seeing everywhere on the arms and sometimes backs/chests of men. That is a cross with wings in a black and white colored concept. This lesson is going to teach you how to draw a winged cross, step by step. This cross is different from all the others I've made in the past and the idea for the actual concept was found after looking at various cross tattoos. I liked the look of two of the crosses I looked over and came out with the one you see here. Not only does this winged cross look good, it is going to be pretty easy to draw. I know you will have fun so why don't you get started.
