How to Draw a Flying Skull

Make a circle for the guide of the skull and then draw in the guidelines for the face and wings.

Next, using the guides you made in step one, go ahead and draw out the shape of the skull's head and then draw out the outlined shapes of the brows where the eyes will be placed. They have sort of an elven ear like shape to them.

You will detail and define the shape of the eyes as well as draw out the inner lines to create the sockets. Once that is done form the nose and draw out the fangs and teeth.

We will draw out the wings next. They are really sharp and pronounced so do the same when drawing out the wings and don't forget to add those thumb claw joints at the tips.

Color in the eye sockets as well as the nasal hole.

Lastly, add some wing tissue which should be torn and damaged. Erase the mistakes and guides as well to clean up the drawing.

That's it, you are all done. Now you can color in the work.

Description: Up next we will learn how to draw a flying skull. I have drawn so many different types of skulls so I wanted to make something a little different. I actually really love how this design came out and I am really happy with the colors I chose as well. Hopefully you guys like this lesson on drawing a flying skull because I had so much fun drawing it out for all of you.
