How to Draw Halloween Applejack

Make two shapes, one for the head and another for the body. Sketch in the facial guidelines too.

The first thing we will need to draw is the sunflower. Do this by making a circle for the center, and some small petals around.

Next, draw the straw style sack for a hood to cover the back of the head.

Next, draw in the bangs for her mane like so.

We can draw Applejack's face structure which is just the snout, cheek and jaw.

Next, draw the big eyes and color in the large pupils. Next, add some straw in her mouth, then add a nose hole.

Add the scuff marks on the sack, then detail inside the flower.

Continue to work on the scarecrow style hat, then add the small pieces of thread and more scuff marks for detailing and texture.

Draw Applejack's shirt next, then move to step ten.

Add some straw or hay coming out the sleeves and back end, then add detailing to the ruffled collar.

Draw the legs and then move to step twelve.

Here we will draw the butt and back legs. She is standing in a pretty straight pose.

Draw in the tail which should be thick and puffy. Add the band at the end of the tail, then proceed to step fourteen which is also the last drawing step.

Add the pieces of straw on the tail, then erase your mistakes and guides.

That's it, Halloween Applejack is all done and ready for you to color in. This is definitely a drawing that you want to show off.

Description: This next lesson was so much fun to make because I worked on a concept that would be perfect for Applejack from My Little Pony. Up next, I will fill the request and teach folks how to draw Halloween Applejack, step by step. Applejack is loved by so many and since she is all about apples, I decided to go ahead and come up with a cool Scarecrow costume for her. He has a yellow sunflower poked through her straw hat, and a piece of hay in her teeth. Anyways, I do hope this is the design you where hoping for.
