How to Draw Anthro Rainbow Dash

Step 1.

Here we will make the guides. Start with the head and then add smaller shapes for the body. Sketch in the facial guidelines and limb lines.

Step 2.

Here you will begin drawing the head by first sketching in the bangs and then when you do this make sure to make her hair messy.

Step 3.

Draw the side part of the head then draw the ears. Don't forget to detail the ears.

Step 4.

We will need to draw out the shape of the face and head, then add a lump under her bangs for the back part of her hair or mane.

Step 5.

Okay, are you ready to add her face? Good because you will start with drawing the eyes. Add the thick lid lines with thick end lashes. You will draw the snout and then her mouth.

Step 6.

Start drawing her body by making a short line to form the neck. When that is done you can draw the chest and add the wings and then her arm/hand.

Step 7.

Draw the left arm and hand which will eventually be gripped onto her waist. Sketch out the structure of her body and add a naval hole.

Step 8.

You will now draw in the legs and then the hooves.

Step 9.

Now that her body is drawn, all you have to do is sketch in the tail. Make it bushy and jagged.

Step 10.

Create the other wing, and hop onto step eleven.

Step 11.

That's it, after you draw in the rest of Anthro Rainbow Dash's hair or mane, you are done. Erase the mistakes followed by the guidelines.

Step 12.

Wow, look how great she looks. Add all her lovely rainbow array of colors. I had fun coloring Rainbow Dash as well.

Description: This is for all you serious My Little Pony fans who love anything that has to do with the MLP franchise. I thought it would be both cool and weird to see a lesson on "how to draw an Anthro version of Rainbow Dash". I keep all her tomboyish characteristics as well as look and style. Even though I don't really follow MLP, I still enjoyed making this tutorial. It's exciting, colorful, and a fun challenge. Let me know what you think of the concept so I can get an idea if I should make a series of these lessons. Thanks, peace out.
