How to Draw Ernesto de la Cruz from Coco

Step 1.

Next, draw in the actual shape of Ernesto's head and face which is very big, square and prominent. You will also need to draw in the hairstyle too which is neatly combed with a curl. Don't forget about the nose, smirk and chin indent.

Step 3.


You will draw in the eyes next and make sure to draw the sockets to appear deep. The eyeballs are set way back.

Step 4.


Now draw the arm and skeletal hand along with the rose that he is holding and sniffing.

We will now draw in Ernesto's suit which starts with the shoulders, arms, hands, lapels, and the scarf that is neatly tucked into the jacket. Detail the hands too to make them look like skeletal hands.

Step 6.


Now you can draw the exposed rib cage.

Then his belt, belt buckle and then the pants. Add the design work on the pocket stitching too and detail the buckle.
