How to Draw Cloudjumper

The first shape you will make is for the brow of Cloudjumper.

Next, draw in the small eyes followed by the bridge of the nose or snout.

Draw in the shape of the face and mouth which is loose hanging frills on the cheeks.

Here you will draw in the fan like frills to shape out the top portion of Cloudjumper's head.

Give some detailing to the frills on the head like so.

We will tackle the body of this beast next. All you have to draw is the chest and belly.

Follow that lining to form the first leg you will draw. It looks kind of odd right now, but the claws need to be added as well.

Begin the eighth step by drawing the arm for the dragon's wing. This should include the fingers and all.

Draw in the second wing arm and fingers. For those of you that don't know, Cloudjumper has four wings.

Finish drawing the first two wings which are not very wide.

Now you can tackle the task of drawing the other pair of wings on the opposite side of the dragon's body.

Add the other wing like so, and be sure to draw the full wing not just the arm and fingers.

Add detailing to the fourth wing you just drew in the previous step.

Up next, we will begin drawing more of the body starting with the left leg. Once the leg is drawn you can add the long claws.

Almost done folks. Draw in Cloudjumper's tail like so, then proceed to the last drawing step.

There are fin like wings on the backs of each talon or foot as you can see here. This aids Cloudjumper sore through the sky. Draw those small wings in, then erase the mistakes.

Description: Some news on the way. There is going to be a How to Train Your Dragon 2 which is set to be released sometime in June of this year. There is also a few cool dragons that will be added to the roster. I will upload this new dragon on "how to draw Cloudjumper", step by step. I don't know if I should actually make too many lessons on the new dragons from the sequel because as of right now I'm not sure which will be popular and which will not. Cloudjumper is going to be one of the more popular ones because of his background and look. He is going to be Valka's dragon, and Valka is also a new character in part 2 that Hiccup admires because of her bond with her dragon. Anyways, whether you know of Cloudjumper or not, this Stormcutter (his species) should be fun to recreate. Adios people.
