How to Draw the Houston Rockets

The first thing to do is draw the face of the R which stands for the word 'Rockets'.

From the face and ear like shape from the R, you will draw the long, rod shape for the straight line of the R formation, then draw in the backwards C to make the hoop part of the R.

Next, draw the leg of the R and make sure that the ends of the shape have a drip style art. Begin drawing the crescent shape at the base of the letter.

Draw in the other leg for the R letter, then draw in the other side of the base which is also in a crescent shape.

Complete the right leg shape and base, then when you are done look for mistakes so you can erase them.

Here is what the logo looks like for The Houston Rockets. Color in the letter, then you're done.

Description: Here is a lesson for all you basketball fans that love the Houston Rockets. Today I will show you very quickly "how to draw the Houston Rockets", step by step. The symbol for the Rockets is a very simple design. There is a crescent like shape on the base of the R. The ends of the letter R have this drip paint style which I think is very cool. The Houston Rockets are from as you may have suspected, Houston Texas. In 1967 they became part of The National Basketball Association or NBA. They are know as just 'Rockets' and if I'm correct they recently won a game when they played the Portland Trail Blazers. Anyways, if you are a fan I'm sure you will enjoy drawing the Houston Rockets team logo.
