How to Draw Beavis and Butt-Head, Beavis and Butt-Head

Step 1.


The first thing to do is make two oval shapes for the heads, and then draw in the guidelines for the face and bodies like so.

Step 2.


Using the shapes you drew in step one, begin sketching out the balloon like structure of Butt-Head's head, and then draw out the side profile of Beavis' face which includes the nose and ear.

Step 3.


Now that you have the main parts of their bodies drawn, you can use the face guides to draw in the eyes, eyebrows, and nose for Butt-Head, and the top part of Beavis' mouth.

Step 4.


All you have to do here is draw in the mouths for both characters, and then draw in the bottom jaw for Beavis, as well as sketch in the teeth, and wrinkles lines on the face.

Step 5.


Both characters have old school style hairdos. Start with Butt-Head because he is way easier to recreate. Draw the puffy outline of his hair which has a wave like pattern, and then draw in Beavis' hairstyle which is a bit higher than his best friends   

Step 6.


You are already almost done with this tutorial. All you need to do next is draw in the torso for each figure. Start with the shoulders, and then draw the sleeves, arms, and rest of the tee shirts.

Step 7.


Now lets finish off these two off the wall characters by drawing in the logos of their favorite bands. Beavis gets AC/DC, and Butthead gets Metallica. Clean up the drawing to prepare it for color.

Step 8.


Here they are guys, Beavis and Butthead all ready for their color job. I hope you had fun, be sure to come back again real soon. Oh yeah, if you're wondering, Beavis is the blonde headed kid, and Butt-Head is the brunette.

Description: There is an old eighties classic cartoon that used to air on MTV back when the channel was all about music instead of a bunch of sitcoms and reality shows. Nowadays you can only hope that you catch a good video on when they do their early morning broadcast and even then it stinks. Anyways, these characters made me laugh when I was younger and even when I watch them now they still know how to put a smile on my face. Today I’m going to show you "how to draw Bevis and Butthead", step by step. I have lessons on each of these figures individually, but not together as a pair. The show Bevis and Butthead was so awesome when I sued to watch it on reruns. I can remember times when I used to channel surf a lot; I would always stop and watch a few episodes of the obnoxious duo that terrorized neighbors, friends, and even the guy at the quick mart. The movie Beavis and Butthead Do America was pretty cool too, but I still liked the series much better. This tutorial is going to teach you in a simple way "how to draw Beavis and Butthead". They are pretty simple characters to replicate because back in the eighties, cartoons weren’t made in a complex way. So sit back and have some good fun as you recreate legends in the making.
