How to Draw a Tribal Lily Tattoo
2
Starting from the center of the shape begin drawing the stamen pistils in a very darkened and bold manner. Also draw and color in the base that the pistils are omitting from.
3
Now you can draw your first overflowing petal starting from the center base of the flower. The petal should be large enough to appear oversized and in full bloom.
4
Begin drawing another petal like so, and notice how this one is curling at the tip. A perfect design for a tribal lily tattoo.
5
You will need to carefully draw in the rest of the petals. They should not be uniform, instead make them appear to be separated from one another.
6
In this step you will draw the last lily petal like so. Notice how the edge of the petal appears to be cut or torn. Add the tribal pattern inside of the lily's petals like so, and move along to step seven.
7
You will finish up your tribal lily by drawing the speckles and spots as well as the line detailing that starts at the center of the bloom, then comes out. Erase your mistakes as well.

Description: OMG, it’s like 75 degrees right now where I live at and I totally love this warm but breezy weather. Today is definitely a good day to submit a lesson on a flower that I also love and that is the lily. I have drawn numerous amounts of lilies in the past, but I never made a tutorial on "how to draw a tribal lily" that would also make an awesome tattoo design. Tattoo flower designs are one of those things where when you get one inked on your skin, it’s either going to look good, or it will end up looking horrible and not what you expected. I guess you can say it’s a hit or miss when it comes to choosing tribal flower tattoo designs. Now because I know how much girls love tribal flower art, I wanted to make sure that the tribal lily I made was something that could almost be a sure thing. But then again, this design concept is only based on my personal preferences and not others. So I guess you could say that this design is also going to be a ‘hit or miss’. Regardless, I think you will enjoy drawing a tribal lily especially f you are a fan of drawing tribal art and tattoos. Enjoy and be sure to rate, and or comment to let me as well as others know what you think. Peace out people!
