Making an Easter lily is going to be really fun. All you have to do is start off making a circle for the center guide of the flower.

2

Next, draw two petals of the trumpet shaped flower like so. At this stage it looks more like blades from a house fan.

3

Add two more petals like so, and notice how the lining is smooth, and soft flowing.

4

Two more Easter lily petals are added between the others like so. This shouldn't be a problem to replicate, but if you feel that you can't draw the petals correctly, just take your time and sketch them out instead of hard press drawing them.

The fun starts now because we will be turning an ordinary looking flower concept into something beautiful and recognizable. Sketch in center lines down the middle of each petal like so. When that is done you can add the stamens in the center of the l

You will now start sketching out the horn shape that is seamlessly attached to the bloom like so. The bottom part of the flower flows directly into the stem of the Easter lily like you see here. Draw in the long, grass like leaves like so, then clean

Here is what your flower should come out looking like when you are all done. Color in the bloom using white and green shades. Now you have yourself an Easter lily that was drawn by you!

Description: For those of you that don't know or realize, I submitted a tutorial on a Stargazer lily that was sitting in my folder for two days. You may not have noticed, but it is the first lesson of the day. The second tutorial is on another flower called the Easter lily. Many of you may recognize this flower because one of the only times that it is displayed in an upfront manner is when Easter rolls around. They are a bloom that is enjoyed mainly in the fall, but since Easter is in Spring, these beautiful blooms come to our stores and florists a week or two before Easter is actually here. Obviously this tutorial is going to be on "how to draw an Easter lily", step by step. With this lesson you will learn how to recreated these trumpet shaped flowers. Like I said before, there are about one hundred ten different types of lilies, and this is one of them. What I like about the Easter lily is how the stem part of the flower seems to mesh with the bloom itself making it look whole. This white flower symbolizes a variety of things, but there is one that stands out and that is purity, followed by hope and life. These flowers go hand in hand with the Easter holiday, and they are traditionally included in homes, churches, and other places that hold celebrations in honor of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Anyways, I do think that those of you that choose to tackle this tutorial will have fun. You can draw the Easter lily out, and then color it in with paint, markers or even crayons if you like. I have to fly out of here because there is still a few tutorials coming your way still. Stay seated to see what they will be. Peace out folks and enjoy!
