How to Draw a Scary Pumpkin

You will start by drawing the lumpy shape of the pumpkin's form like so, then move to step two where you will draw some of the face.

Next, draw the horizontal zigzag shape of the mouth. This is the typical mouth design of a Jack-o-lantern.

Okay guys, you will now draw the scary shapes for the eyes, then draw in the eyeballs.

Color in the background of the eyes, and then color in the pupils.

Okay are you ready to finish this pumpkin off? Draw out the triangular nose, then color it in too. Erase the mistakes that you made so everything comes out neat.

Here is the finished product when you are all done. Now you can grab your colored pencils and go to town.

Description: I know I have done plenty of pumpkins in the past but I don't think I have ever made a lesson on "how to draw a scary pumpkin", step by step. This pumpkin has plenty of scare and it also has a lot of potential because you can add a stem, some colors, and even a pumpkin patch. There is many ways to add your own flare when making a scary pumpkin, so don't think that you have to follow this design verbatim. Be creative and go with the flow. If you feel like adding something to your scary pumpkin go right ahead and do so. I would love to see how your scary pumpkin comes out so be sure to upload your finished work.
