How to Draw a Halloween Pumpkin

Begin by drawing the lid line for the witches hat.

Here you will draw in more of the witch's hat and be sure to add the band around the base of the hat like so.

Next up, draw the rest of the witch hat and make sure that it is crooked or broke looking. Add a buckle to the band, then move along to step four.

Now we can draw the actual shape of the pumpkin. Add detailing to the shape of the pumpkin, then proceed to step five.

If you decide to draw in a Jack-O-Lantern style face, you will need to draw the shapes of the eyes in a big, mean expression.

Now you can draw in the mouth which is a zigzag style. Again, you can go with whatever style you wish.

Add the last of the detailing to the pumpkin and then draw the rest of the eyes. Erase whatever mistakes you might have made.

Now color in your Halloween Pumpkin and tape the picture to your wall, fridge, window or what have you.

Description: Have fun with this lesson on a Halloween pumpkin. I have so many pumpkin tutorials that I have done in the past, but I'm not sure if I made a lesson on drawing a Halloween pumpkin wearing a witches hat. The face looks more like that of a Jack-O-Lantern, but you can choose to go with any style pumpkin face you like. The creepy house in the background give more momentum to the whole Halloween concept.
