How to Draw a Manga Girl
1
Let us begin with two shapes, one for the head and another for her torso. Sketch in the facial guidelines then add a neck line to connect the two shapes.
2
Draw out the actual shape of her face like so, then begin the second part by drawing the full, sharp tipped bangs. The bangs should fall completely on the forehead.
3
Use the guidelines to draw out the eyes, then draw in the eyebrows, nose, mouth and blush marks on her cheeks.
4
The face is all set. You will now draw the shape of her neck, then draw in the short collar flaps like so. Detail the flaps then move to step five.
5
Continue this step by sketching out the shape of her torso. You will first draw in the shoulders, then draw the puffy shirt sleeve. Add some creases on the sleeve, then draw the breast.
6
Finish the shape of her upper body to give this manga girl a nice body form. Add an opening seam line down the center of her torso, then add some wrinkling under the breasts and on the back.
7
Here is where you will start with the long hairstyle and make sure that the hair is long, straight, and swaying in the breeze. Add detailing to the hair, then when you feel like you have finished you can proceed to step eight.
8
Up next, you are almost done. Draw the hat which is a sun style hat. The rim should be a bit wavy, and add some cross hatch detailing on the top part of the hat. Add a band around the base of the hat, then proceed to step nine.
9
For the last step all you have to do is draw in her arm, then draw some buttons and then add some wrinkles on the sides and along the center of the blouse. Finish drawing her hair as well. Erase all those mistakes and then you are finished.

Description: How about a really nice lesson on a manga style anime girl dressed in a pretty top and a rim style sun hat? I hope everyone is liking the new layout, and because I am so excited that it is finally up, I wanted to make and upload some awesome lessons. Here is "how to draw a manga girl", step by step. This manga girl reminds me of summer. The hazy sunlight in the background with the surrounding trees makes the scenery cozy and warm. There is also a nice cool breeze as you can see by her hair blowing in the wind. Even though I hate the heat from summer, I still love the sun, the beautiful flowers, and all of the joy that comes with the season. I suppose the whole concept was made because I miss the warmer weather. Where I am we already have snow on the ground with temps in the lower 30's. Have fun people and remember to upload your finished work when you are done. Peace out and good luck.
