Drawing a Banker

Step 1.

Begin with some simple shapes like the guides for the head and hand like so. Sketch in the facial guidelines and then proceed to step two.

Step 2.

Up next, draw the top portion of the banker's head which in this case is the floppy ears, the head and then the back part of the head and neck. You will also draw the metal framed glasses and some texture detailing.

Step 3.

Up next, draw in the hog's or banker snout followed by the mouth, chin and jaw. You really want to draw this banker to look disgusting and greedy. Draw in the eyes and eyebrows followed by the crinkles on the nose and around the cheeks and eyes.

Step 4.

Add the grinding teeth and draw some chin hair on the chin or should I say whiskers.

Step 5.

Now that the head and face is all drawn in, you can draw the body starting with the shirt collar, arm and hand. Don't forget those nails on the fingers and the scuff marks on the hand. Also, add the wrinkles to the jacket.

Step 6.

For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw in the fanned money and then the flames burning at the edges of the money. Erase the mistakes and guides, then proceed to step seven.

Step 7.

Here is the line art folks, now you can just color in your Banker or hog and show people the art.

Description: Here is a concept piece of art that I was inspired to create after reading a few articles on the worlds economy. I'm sure it's no surprise to some of you that many countries are hurting financially and it's only the banks that are making off like bandits. Of course I'm not going to get into the subject in full detail. Instead I will convey my thoughts through art which is why I really wanted to make this lesson on drawing a greedy banker, step by step. The banker is the hog and as you can see he is holding the hard earned money that people have to work for as it burns into flames. I love the concept and I'm sure that some of you will find a use for the lesson. I do have more tuts coming your way so be sure to stay close by.
