Moose Head Drawing Tutorial
2
Using the guide you just made, draw the long muzzle for the moose's nose and then draw the mouth and nostril holes. When that is done draw the forehead too.
3
Up next, draw the loose skin under the chin and then draw the front part of the neck line. Color in the eyeball and then draw the definition along the jaw. Add marks around the eyes to create that bulge look.
4
Now you will draw in the moose antlers. Of course you can draw these antlers as large or as small as you want.
5
For the final step, draw the ears and the back or top part of the moose's body which is the neck and some of the shoulder. Erase the mistakes and the guides.

Description: Okay folks, this lessons goes out to all you people out there (like myself) who live out in the country or other isolated areas where Moose are a big attraction or are commonly seen. Today, I will be showing you all how to draw a Moose Head, step by step. Moose are probably the largest land animal I have ever seen with my own two eyes. When folks say that they are big, believe me, they are big. I can remember just last year when I was outside sitting in the sun, I saw a female moose or cow just galloping down my dirt road of a street and went into the woods just along the side of my house. The moose in this lesson is obviously a bull because of the antlers. I have much respect for these animals because of their sheer size and the way they take over the woods. In all reality, moose are much darker then the colored image you see here in this lesson. I just wanted to make the moose a bit brighter so the image wasn't so dark on the page. Have fun with drawing this moose head and I will be back with a concept piece that I think you will enjoy.
