Draw Mavis From Hotel Transylvania
1
Let us begin by drawing the shapes and body guidelines to form a frame for Mavis' body. The head shape is pretty round and the torso and lower section are rounded as well.
2
Here you will use the head shape to draw out Mavis' face structure. When that is done you can draw in her hairstyle starting with th ebangs. Notice the bangs are drawn into a point.
3
Get started on her face and one thing that is noticable on Mavis' face is her big blue eyes. Draw them in and when you are done with that, draw in her dark smile and then her nose.
4
Finish up Mavis' hair. It's not long, its not short. It's medium length. Add the puffiness in the back and then add the shape of her neck and shoulders. Don't be afraid to sketch in detailing to her hair.
5
We can now work on her upper body. Draw the arms, hands, chest and some of the back. Take your time, don't rush. Draw the sleeves too.
6
Mavis wears a one piece dress, so draw in the length of the dress and then draw in her long slender legs. Notice how they are crossed over one another for a playful pose.
7
Finish up the body by drawing Mavis' sneakers or red Converse. At this stage they look more like socks.
8
Now you will turn those socks into Converse and the legs into leggings with stripes. Erase the mistakes and the guides.

Description: Last, but not least here is my final drawing lesson on a series of character I drew in full body form from Hotel Transylvania. I will finish the series by showing you all how to draw Mavis, step by step. I already did a tut on Mavis in the past, but not in her full body form. The pose is playful like her inner personality and I love the fact that she wears red Converse sneakers. I think I would say that Mavis is one of my favorite characters from the movie. I love her style, her hair, her personality, everything. Drawing Mavis was really fun. I really did enjoy drawing and coloring her from beginning to end. I do hope that all of you will like drawing Hotel Transylvania characters as well, because they were all done in original body poses. Well, that's it. When I return next it will be with lessons on totally different characters so adios amigos for now.
