How to Draw Grinch

Begin the first step by drawing or sketching out Grinch's face which is as you know hairy and heart shaped. Also incorporate the bushy brows too.

Here you will draw the rim of Grinch's Santa style hat and then draw in the shapes of his eyes, nose and snively grin.

Up next, we will first finish the hat, then draw the arm and one hand. The arm is around the front cause he is holding the sack of toys.

We will start to draw out the top portion of the sack along with parts of his other arm and hand. Notice there is also a candy cane sticking out from the top of the bag.

Draw in his body and notice how it is like a bulb shape. Draw in the legs and feet too.

We will lastly draw in the big sack of stolen toys, then draw the detailing to the bag as well. Don't forget to decorate those presents sticking out too. When that is done you can erase all the mistakes you might have made.

Here is the finished line art folks. Now go ahead and color in Grinch so you can bring him to life.

Description: Okay, I guess I made you guys wait long enough for another lesson. I promise tho there will be no more Christmas tutorials to come, only whatever else. Anyways, y'all know by now that a new interpretation of How the Grinch Stole Christmas is coming out later this year and its called 'The Grinch'. All the characters look different while remaining the same. For the Grinch, he looks the same, just a little more like a green elf than hairy human or Who. I don't know exactly where Grinch came from, I never really looked into that, but the more important thing here is you will be able to draw Grinch the way he is gonna look in the upcoming film later this year. So go ahead and get your practice in because you want to make sure you can draw Grinch before showing your friends and family who you just created. Oh, don't you just love how I also drew him holding the sack full of toys he stole from all the homes in Whoville? Adios people.
