How to Draw Frank From Hotel Transylvania
1
Let's start off like we always do and that is with some basic guidelines and shapes to form Frank's body. He is a very bulky character, so these shapes shouldn't be too hard to recreate.
2
Up next, use the head guide you drew in step one and draw out Frank's actual head structure which is oblong and square.
3
We will draw in his face next. Start with the hair detailing, then draw the eyebrows, eyes, nose, big grin and then draw Frank's ears. Take your time so his face comes out looking like the character.
4
Okay, head and face are done, now let's work on the body. We will start by drawing the actual shape of his torso which in this case is in the form of his jacket. Draw the lapels that are stiff looking and then some of the arms or sleeves.
5
Finish up the upper body or torso by completing the arms then draw Frank's big hands along with the stitching at the wrists. Add some definition to the jacket or coat, then move along to the next step.
6
We will draw Frank's clothes that he is wearing under the jacket which is mainly just his tucked in button up shirt and tie. Add the pin stripes and then draw the belt and jacket pockets.
7
We will draw his pants next which are as you can see very large and boxy. Add the cuffs at the bottom of his pant legs and then draw a seam line along the crotch area.
8
For the last step you will draw Frank's huge boots. These look like mallets, so be sure to draw them square and large. Erase the mistakes and guides when you are all done.

Description: Hey everyone, welcome back to another lesson that I do believe you will enjoy. Today I will upload my last two Hotel Transylvania characters starting with this one on how to draw Frank, step by step. Frankie is as you know Dracula's best friend. He is of towering height, and has a friendly, easy going, kind, lovable, gentle and even uncontrollable personality. Regardless of what Frank's flaws are, he is still a cool character to draw. I wouldn't say that he is easy for artists of all skill levels, I would say he definitely is a challenge. Anyways, go ahead and enjoy this tut. I shall return with more fun for you all so stay tuned in to see what pops up next.
