Create Stunning Artwork: Step-by-Step Guide to Drawing a Skull and Rose with Precision and Style

Step 1.


We will begin by drawing out some guides that will help you draw the skull and rose.

Step 2.


Using the guides from step one, go ahead and begin drawing out the shape of the skulls, well, skull and then draw in the contouring of the cheek bones. Also draw the first leaf for the rose design.

Step 3.


You will now use the eye guides to draw the hollows of the skull sockets. When that is done begin tackling the upper jaw which is also the teeth. Add the side parts of the jaw structure too. Don't forget some skull detailing on the left.

Step 4.


Moving forward you will now draw out the bone definition of the brows. When that is done draw out the hollow of the nose. You will also need to draw in some definition around the eyes and along the side of the nose. Draw in the gum line for where th   

Step 5.


Finish the teeth and then draw the foliage design on the left side of the skull's face. You will also start the process for more of the leaves and some of the rose petals. Draw the stems to the right eye socket and then add some detailing under the n   

Step 6.


Now for the last step you can draw in the entire flower one petal at a time and also draw in more leaves. Add detailing to the leaves and rose petals then draw the buds to the little plants on the left of the skull's face. You will also draw one sing   

Step 7.


That is all. Here is the finished work and what your drawing should look like when complete. Now add some color to create a really attractive piece.

Description: Hey there once again wonderful artists of the Dragoart community. I am back and with my return I am filling another request made by bmxbellagal1996. She asked that I make a lesson that shows you how to draw a skull and rose so here it is. I do hope you like this lesson. It's not easy, but it's also not extremely difficult to tackle.
