Step-by-Step Tutorial: How to Draw Kemonomimi Character

Step 1.


I'll begin like I always do and that is with some basic guidelines for the head, toro and flowers.

Step 2.


Here you will use those facial guides to draw out the shape of the face and then the flow of the hairstyle.

Step 3.


Go ahead and finish the hairstyle and then draw out the shapes of the ears. Both the feline ears and regular human ears.

Step 4.


We will now work on the face. Begin with the eyes and then proceed down to the nose, mouth, neck. Then draw the lapels of the jacket as well as the collar of the shirt and then the tie.

Step 5.


Finish off the torso by draw the shoulders and some of the sleeves. When that is done you can draw the bouquet of flowers which consists of simple shaped roses and a couple daisies.

Step 6.


Draw in more roses as you see here, then some leaves and detailing. When that is done you can begin to clean up the drawing by erasing mistakes and guides.

Step 7.


When you are done your art should resemble the drawing you see here. Now all you have to do is have fun coloring it in and creating a nice background.

Description: Hidy ho fellow artists. I return and with my come back I bring with me something different. Today I will attempt to show you how to draw kemonomimi characters or character. In this case it is a catboy. As most of you may know, kemonomimi is art that depicts anthropomorphism or animal characters in human form. I wanted to make something fun and bright so I drew this lad with a bundle of flowers and nice background. I hope you have fun with this tutorial.
