How to Draw Tribal Hayley Williams

Artist: Dawn / April 26, 2014

Step 1.

Start off with the lining to form the angled view of her face. This includes the nose and mouth/lips.

Step 2.

Next, sketch out her short razor cut hairstyle, and then add the pointed ends or tips.

Step 3.

Draw in her eye which is thick, dark and bold. When that is done you can color in the nostril hole.

Step 4.

Draw in the left side of her face along with the bottom lip and chin. Her jawline and more hair should also be added.

Step 5.

Define the left side of her face and include the sectioned off eye.

Step 6.

Finish this tribal drawing of Hayley Williams by adding the left side of her hairstyle. Erase the mistakes if you made any.

Step 7.

Now you can now color in the areas solid by using the line art as your guide. When you're done you can show folks what you have done.

Description: There is a singer who has been on the radio a lot recently and that singer is Hayley Williams. Today I will attempt to show you how to draw a tribal version of Hayley Williams from the band Paramore. I know I did a lesson on Hayley before, but this one is pretty cool. Besides, when you are in the public eye and are a performer/actor/actress or what have you, your image is always on a changing scale. Hayley doesn't look the same way she did when her band Paramore first hit mainstream, so with the changing times performers have to keep their appearances looking up-to-date. My attempt on drawing Hayley Williams in tribal form came out pretty cool, but I think she also came out looking a little like Joan Jett. Have an awesome time with this tut folks, and good luck.
