How to Draw a Mic

1

Start by drawing the head of the mic making sure there is a gap within the shape. This will be the mouth.

2

You will now draw in the mouth or lips. Be sure to section off the teeth too.

3

Define the design of the microphone by drawing the indent lines that run both horizontal and vertically across.

4

Simply draw in the pointed teeth, then the gum line.

5

Up next, begin drawing the base of the mic. This is the part of the stand, there should be bolts and plates.

6

Detail the bolt and handle of your microphone.

7

Continue to draw in the mic stand by adding more of the same shape.

8

Now you can draw out the mic cord which is wildly whipping across the paper.

9

Add more of the cord lining in back of the mic stand, then proceed to step ten.

10

This is the last piece of mic cord that you will have to draw. This should attach to the head.

11

Now you can finish off the graffiti design by adding music music notes in all different sizes.

12

Here is the line art now that you are done. Color in the mic and that's it, show people what you have did.

Description: This is going to be a really fun, exciting and alive lesson because we will be learning "how to draw a mic" in a graffiti style art concept. I decided to make this lesson because I was watching a whole show of my sister using her karaoke machine that she got for last Christmas. As you can see the mic has a mean mouth filled with sharp teeth. That design is supposed to represent the intensity of the voice behind the mic. As you know when I say "mic" I'm referring to a microphone. Anyways, I think you will enjoy drawing a mic because the style it's drawn in is so cool.
