How to Draw Red XIII, Final Fantasy

You will be drawing Red XIII's head and half body so let's get started. Begin with a small circle for the head and then follow up this step by making the large outline of the torso. Draw the limb line as well as a small shape for the paw.

Description: After this installment of anime figures in the form of some sort of animal, I will be turning my lessons onto another character approach. Tomorrow you should see some different stuff that is not what you have been seeing lately on Dragoart. So having said that, let the show continue as I submit another character, but this time it's from a video game instead of the manga. Up next, we will tackle the challenge of learning "how to draw Red XIII", step by step. For those of you that are familiar with Final Fantasy, you should already recognize this animal or beast. Red XIII is what you call a mix between a lion and wolf. Now his creators never wrote that Red was of this mix, I'm just saying what he looks like he could be. Red has the head of a lion, but the body could be that of a wolf. Of course you see that Red's tail is very lion like, but from the head up, all I see is a lion species. Anyways, his real name is actually Nanaki, but Red XIII was given to this beast when he was held captive to be used as a specimen in a few experiments administered by Professor Hojo. You will often find Red XIII or Nanaki fight with Cloud, and in the game Final Fantasy VII, you can also choose Red XIII to be a playable character. I was going to make the entire body of Red, but then I thought making just the half of him would be easier on you novice artists out there. I know there is a lot of FF fans so making a lesson on one of the coolest figures easy is almost imperative.
