How to Draw Niagara Falls, Niagara Falls
1
Start out by picking your pencils. I used a 4H pencil for light shading/lines, a B pencil for general shading/lines, and a 2B pencil for dark shading.
4
Smooth out your shading as much as possible then lightly erase in the basic form of the waterfall. Try to use a white eraser to erase.
10
Now start finalizing the sky. Use blending stumps and a kneadable eraser to smooth out the clouds. You can use a 4H pencil to define the cloud outlines. Work from left to right.
12
Next up use B and 2B pencils to define the trees and forms above the falls. I chose not to go into too much detail but you can if you want to.
14
Use a blending stump and erasers to define the waterfall itself some more. Use a 4H pencil for any light details that you need to draw in. Make the steam rising from the base of the waterfall as smooth as possible with a blending stump.
15
Now smooth out and define the water beyond the waterfall some more. Use an eraser to make the water look foamy. Use a 4H pencil for any light details.
