How to Draw Houndoom

Make the guide shapes for the head and body. Sketch in the facial guidelines and then draw the limb guides.

Begin drawing the defined shape of Houndoom's head and neck like so leaving a gap at the top of the head for the horn.

We will now draw in the large curled horns on each side of the head, then draw in the muzzle like so followed by the eyes, nose and mouth line.

Finish the shape of the neck, than draw the bones down the back. This will also shape the back. Draw in a small skull on the chest as well.

We can tackle the legs by drawing the length of them and then draw the feet and toe nails. When that is all done draw the bracelets on each ankle.

Lastly, draw the back end of the body along with the hind legs. When that is done you can draw the feet and bracelets once again. Don't forget to draw in the thin tail with an arrow tip tuft. Erase the guidelines and shapes when you are all done.

Description: It's been a while since I made lessons on requested Pokemon characters so here is a species that came in my request box more than once. Up next, we will be having some fun as we tackle the task of drawing Houndoom, step by step. Now out of all the Pokemon species I have drawn, Houndoom is one of the coolest I've seen. It is a dark Pokemon and is supposed to be a hound from hell I guess. It has ram like horns and a row of bones down the back and shoulders. As you can see Houndoom shouldn't be too hard to replicate so go ahead and have yourself a blast as you learn how to draw Houndoom. I will return again with more submissions for you guys to have fun with.
