Step 1.

Draw the face/head guide and then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Step 2.

Define the shape of the face and then draw in the parted hairstyle like you see it done here.

Step 3.

We will now draw the shape of her neck as well as more of the hair that falls on the right side of her face as well as along the neck.

Step 4.

We will now start drawing the face. Begin with the simple eyebrows and color them in. Once that is done draw the eyes in a closed pose. Add the thick lashes which brush her face, and then draw the seam or crease to create the lids.

Step 5.

Here you will draw in the nose and then draw the mouth or lips.

Step 6.

Lastly, draw the tears. We will draw them pouring down the cheeks of her face and even on to her neck. Erase the mistakes and guides, then you're done.

Step 7.

Here is the face. Color it in and you are done.

Description: There are many of you who have been following my art and came to realize that I love drawing faces in either pain, torment, sorry, confusion or even sadness. Today, I thought I would show folks how to draw falling tears, step by step. Drawing crying eyes is one thing, but when you create a face that is crying from pain, sadness, happiness or fear you are usually just drawing tears in the water line of the eye with a few drops streaming down the face. In this lesson you will actually draw the tears falling down the face in streams instead of drops. I love the girls face and the expression she is giving off. I also love the way I drew in her lips. They are so expressive and can mean many things. Anyways, have fun. Be sure to stick around because I do have more lessons for you all.
