How to Draw Art

Make the guide shapes for the head and shoulders like so and then draw in the neck guideline.

Define the shape of the head structure like you see here. When that is done draw in the profile of the face. This face should look saddened.

Sketch out the remaining structure of the face which is the chin and jaw line. Add the ear shape and then sketch in the detailing to the face like the dimpling on the cheek and around the mouth. Don't forget to draw in the eye too.

Now you will draw in the exposed insides of the head. There is a small brain and blood fluid surrounding the brain. Add detailing inside the ear as well.

Now you can work on drawing the shape of the neck and then some of the raised tissue on the back part of the shoulder.

Finish drawing the rest of the torso and when you do this you will need to draw in another raised hole as well as the smoke coming from the hole.

Lastly, draw in the rest of the smoke and then you are all done. Add detailing where needed and then erase the mistakes and guides.

Here is the line art. Just color in the drawing and show others what you just created.

Description: Here is a concept art piece that I proud of. It is a drawing on what I believe ignorance looks like if it could be drawn. The mind is small, without knowledge or just plain ignorant. I love the way the face cries with blood tears as the brain is leaking from the eyes. The smoke coming from the holes on the shoulders and back also have meaning, but I think I will leave that to your interpretation. Anyways have fun drawing art and I will be back with other lessons for you all to follow.
