How to Draw Eric Draven The Crow
1
Start off by drawing the body frame for Eric Draven in his signature stance. Start with the head, shoulders, torso guide and then the hips and legs.
2
Sketch out the shape of Eric's face like so, then include some stringy pieces of hair that fall down on his face.
3
Next up, use the facial guidelines to draw in Eric's face which is like a clown. The eyes are dark with the stripes down the face. Draw in the nose as well as his mouth or colored in lips.
5
Now lets work on his body. Start with the outline of the torso starting with the shoulders, arms rib area, and then the hands.
6
Complete the body shape by drawing out the hips and waist, then draw the thighs, legs and feet which are boots. There is a small gap between the legs as you see here.
7
Next, draw the crow on the left side as well as on the right. There are smaller crows surrounding him as well as crow feathers. Erase your mistakes and guides so you can color him in next.

Description: It's no secret that one of my favorite movies of all time is 'The Crow'. I don't care how many years go by, the movie is simply awesome. I love Brandon Lee, I think he did a fantastic job portraying Eric Draven the up and coming rock band that died brutally when a gang of thugs barge in their home and beat both Eric and Shelly (his fiancie). Eric dies first, then Shelly is rapped so bad that she died in the hospital. What some folks may not know is that The Crow actually first started out as a comic book series written by James O'Barr. Instead of Eric and Shelly dying in their home, they where killed in their car after it broke down. Anyways, this is a lesson on the classic look of Eric Draven as he walks down the alley or street with his Raven or Crow. I hope you like this tutorial as much as I did making it.
