How to Draw Dark Sonic

Step 1.


Make a simple circle for the head, then sketch in the facial guidelines.

Step 2.


You will start the head shape by drawing the top part of Sonic's head, then draw the arched raised brows.

Step 3.


Under those brows you will draw out the shapes of Sonic's eyes. When that is done draw and color in the nose.

Step 4.


Draw a skinny oval shape for the eye, then color in the pupil.

Step 5.


Add his cat shaped ears, then draw the rest of his face shape like you see here. Add Sonic's smile or smirk, then detail inside the ears.

Step 6.


Almost done folks. We will draw Sonic's body next. This is just the arms and torso. Add the marking shape on his chest like so, then proceed to step seven.

Step 7.


Last drawing step here. Add two big shards for the hair or head. This will complete the entire drawing. Erase those mistakes and guides.

Step 8.


The line art is like so. Color in Sonic using dark shades, or the original colors for Sonic the Hedgehog.

Description: I was just trying to have some fun so I went ahead and made this tutorial on "how to draw dark Sonic". There is no rhyme or reason why I made this concept, I think I just wanted to see what Sonic would look like if he was dark. Overall he came out pretty cool. You don't have to color him in using dark gray shades. You can choose to use his blue hues if you like. Sonic is only dark if you color him that way. Drawing sonic characters is always fun, so if you wanted to see this game character in this drawing style, here he is. Have fun and good luck with your drawing endeavors.
