Make a simple circle for the head guide then sketch in a facial guideline.

Next, begin forming Sonic's face and head like you see here. You will be drawing the silhouette image of his face profile. The ears and dreads should be drawn, as well as the forehead, nose and some of the face.

Next, draw the hollow for the eye shape and that small sharp shape is the pupil to add to the silhouette.

Lastly, finish everything off by drawing the entire head/hair. This is in a swirl like shape so be sure to draw the layers for the hair. Erase your mistakes as well as your guides.

That's it folks. The line art should come out like the drawing you see here. Of course you can choose to color in the silhouette any shade you like.

Description: What's up folks? I hope everyone's day is going well. I am done with uploading lessons for the day so I can work on new ones for mañana or tomorrow. Anyways, for the last tut for the day I will be showing you a cool way to draw Sonic the Hedgehog in a silhouette style. I only drew his head, but I think you will find the lesson simple which means you should be able to tackle this tut and finish it within ten minutes max. I have drawn Sonic the Hedgehog so many times in the past as well as a lot of Sonic related characters. This is another tut for the books so go ahead and have fun with it. Thanks folks and enjoy.
