How to Draw Dark Applejack

Let's begin by always starting with the basic guidelines that will help us proportion the face shape and facials. This step is crucial, but if you're more advanced, skip this step. Draw these guides LIGHTLY however.

Next, let's draw her face shape, making sure it's nicely curved and circular. Don't forget her ear.

Now, if this is your first time drawing Applejack, you'll realize in this face pose, it's a bit tricky. Start with the upper swoop shape first, and then work your way to the swoop below, which frames her forehead.

Then, using thin line weights, sketch in the defining lines for her sections of hair.

Let's start drawing the upper lids and lashes to start off the facials for Applejack. She's going to be angry in this one.

Then, draw her pupils and the iris. Take your time with this step as this is the defining step which makes the pony look like Applejack. Try drawing the nose and mouth evenly spaced apart from the distance between the eyes and mouth.

Let's draw her hat, which is pretty easy, try not to overlap the lines already on the paper.

Next, draw her pony tail and neck lines which frame the lower part of her body.
