Begin with a medium sized circle for this chibi's head. Draw in the guides for the face and arms like so.

Here in the second step you will begin by drawing out the top of chbi Optimus Prime's head. This should include two squared antenna like shapes, and as you can see the side of the head also has a rounded base for the antenna.

Begin sketching out the structure of face starting with the base of the jaw line and pointed chin. Remember, this is a robot so all the angles should be sharp, and the ends should all be pointed. Draw a few more layers for the face below the chin lin

Now that the head is all set, we can start working on getting the body drawn out. Begin with drawing the arms. Start at the shoulder and draw the small pieced sections. When drawing out the right arm be sure to draw in the small circled joint as an e

Before drawing more of the body, you will need to first draw in the hands, and then draw in the detailing lines that makes the chibi look more like a robot.

Youa re already almost done with this tutorial. Here you will begin the process of getting chibi Optimus Prime's legs drawn out. The thighs are drawn with a single shaped construction, and then you will draw out the bottom half of the legs like so. N

For the last drawing step, you need to first begin erasing any guides and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up the drawing. Once that is done you can draw out the detailing definitions like the grooves on top of the head, the bolts on the sid

Now that you are all done with making this awesome leader in chibi form, your end results are what you see here. I know there may have been a few bumps to completion, but in all I think you did a great job drawing chibi Optimus Prime.

Description: I’m so excited because today is going to be a super fun tutorial day. I’m going to start things off by submitted a few lessons on chibi sized figures that we know and love. I was going through some of the chibis that I already drew hoping that I would come up with some ideas as to what I can do next. Luckily I came up with a few things that I thought would make really cool tutorials. The first was actually requested a while back and it’s on "how to draw chibi Optimus Prime", step by step. If you’re a Transformers fan you already know that Optimus Prime is the leader of the Autobots. I had a lot of fun making this chibi version of the one Transformer that is for good, and looks the best as a computer generated robot. I wanted to make sure that the chibi version of Optimus Prime wasn't too complex to draw. I knew that making this character easy enough for anyone to tackle was probably a good idea since he is so darn popular, and since he is the head honcho of the Autobots. I think you will find that drawing chibi Optimus Prime is going to be so much fun, and really simple to replicate. I shall return with more submissions that I know you are all going to love.
