How to Draw an Animal Spirit

Step 1.


Make two shapes, one for the head and another for the body of your animal spirit.

Step 2.


Here you will draw out the actual structure of the deer's face and some of the head (forehead). The snout should be drawn in a clean manner with the mouth closed.

Step 3.


You will now draw in the ears, shape of the neck and then draw the shape of the chest.

Step 4.


We will now draw in the nose and then draw the shape of the eye. There are markings around the eye which is like a tribal pattern.

Step 5.


For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw in the markings on the chest and as you can see they are wispy marks. When that is done erase your mistakes as well as the guides and you are done.

Step 6.


Here is the line art. Just color in your animal spirit and don't forget to add that glow.

Description: Okay guys, let me get these four tuts uploaded from yesterday before I submit the rest of my lessons from today. I will begin by showing you all how to draw an animal spirit, step by step. The animal that I chose for this tutorial is the deer. I wanted to use the deer because they are such graceful creatures who stroll through the woods as quiet as can be as they live their peaceful lives. This drawing came out incredibly pretty and I hope that all of you enjoy the tut as well. I shall return with more tuts so be sure to stay tuned in.
