How to Draw a World of Warcraft Character, Female Draenei
1
You will start this step by drawing a circle shape for the head and then sketch in the facial guidelines. Draw the neck and then move along to step two. Remember, this WOW character is being drawn from a 3/4 view.
2
Using the facial guidelines, begin sketching out a nose, and then slowly draw in her mouth which is nicely portioned. Sketch the right side of the nose which is the nostril arch.
3
You will now begin the drawing process to get her eyes sketched in. Take your time so the eyes come out looking intense, and beautiful. When the shapes of the eyes are drawn in, you can begin sketching the eyebrows, thick lining for the eyes and then
4
I know this step seems odd, but it's actually the shape of her head and face. Start on the lower right side and sketch in the jaw line followed by her chin, and left side of the face. The same lining should also form the pattern of the wavy cone head
5
Add some line detailing for the horns that you just drew in step four. This should add contouring to her head. Next and lastly for this step, sketch in the ear detailing and definition which is the cartilage.
6
In this step you will begin working on getting her hair style drawn out. Start with some swift lines which should give the contouring effect. While drawing her hair, make sure to add some small pieces lifted up and pointed at the ends. To add texture
7
We will get busy drawing her shoulder armor which is plated. The lining is made of straight angles in a octagon type fashion. It's almost like drawing the shell detailing of a turtle.
8
Draw the ends or edges of the shoulder armor, and then sketch in the intricate detailing on the chest where the edges of the armor ends. Clean up the drawing freeing it from mistakes and guides.

Description: Last night, I was browsing though countless artworks from tons of talented digital painters that have inspired me so much, to create my own. Now, this was initially a practice painting to see if I could further my skills and practice digital skills on armor, skin, hair, and other textures. To my surprise, I've successfully rendered something similar to the World of Warcraft painting style (and I shall continue painting more fantasy related subjects using this style). In the future, I plan to reveal the secrets to painting this way during my livestreams, where I'll present a full tutorial with commentary because I know there's lots of aspiring digital painters who wish to unlock the secrets. Anyways, I hope you'll enjoy the painting and the tutoiral on “how to draw a female world of warcraft character”, step by step. Thanks so much for viewing and have fun with your drawing endeavors!
