How to Draw a Wolf Spirit

Make the circle shape for the wolf's head, then sketch in the upper part of the snout. Add the guideline for the face as well.

Using the guide you just made, sketch out the shape of the head structure as well as the snout, mouth and neck.

Begin sketching out the long soft flowing layers of hair from the wolf's thick coat. This will also shape out the ear too.

Up next, draw the nose, mouth lips, and then draw the closed eye. Add some chin hair as well.

Here you will lightly sketch in some soft shading to create a spirit like form. Add some soft spots around the wolf which will represent sparkles.

Here is what the finished line art for your wolf spirit. As you can see the shading is very light to have a translucent effect.

Description: I have a real spiritual lesson for you all today that I know a lot of people will enjoy. To start the day right, I will be showing you "how to draw a wolf spirit", step by step. The wispy spirit of the howling wolf really decorates the sky with the Northern Lights in the background. The feeling of spirituality has been coming over me in a big wave lately and I think it has a lot to do with the winter months and all the wildlife around me. Anyways, I do think you will enjoy this tut especially since it's based on the concept of a wolf. Have fun and let me know if there are other animals you would like to see made into a spirit form.
