How to Draw a Tribal Indian Chief

Start with drawing the front part of the tribal design which will be the Indian's face and neck.

Here you will draw the outline of the face shape that is exposed.

Draw the face which consists of the nose, cheek and chin shapes and mouth line or shape.

You will draw an upside down triangle to form the Indian's neck, then add the detailing in the center of the neck for the throat.

Here you will slowly draw the hair along with the feather shapes for the headdress that this Indian Chief is wearing.

For the last step just detail the headdress and add some spacing for the feathers. Erase your mistakes so you can color in the tribal design you just made.

To color in your tribal Indian Chief all you have to do is use this black and white drawing as your shading guide.

Description: That will do for lessons on a few Peanut's characters, I will now upload this lesson on another tribal drawing. It was suggested by my brother that I should make a lesson on "how to draw a tribal Indian Chief" because he felt that an Indian Chief would make an awesome tribal design. After a quick thought I said, "yeah, that would be a cool idea". Instead of making things complicated I wanted to use thick bold lines for the design concept. This tribal drawing style makes it easier for novice artists to follow and recreate. I hope you enjoy, I will be back later with one more tut. See ya folks, peace out.
