Description: Well I did it. I went ahead and made my very own tutorial on a realistic lion. I submitted a video link in the past for this big cat, but I figured that one of my own drawings or sketches would be a lot better. Now, because a comment was left on my recent lion lesson that said the lion looked like Aslan, I figured a nice sketch of this version of my lion would do just fine. I based the lions design on Aslan and on a lion that you would typically find in the safari. The sketch took me a while to complete including rough drafting, drawing, coloring, shading, and detailing the lion. This would be a great tutorial to tackle if you are one of those people that have always wanted to learn "how to draw a realistic lion", step by step. I can’t say that this tutorial will be easy because it may be difficult for some of you novice artists out there. If you are experienced with drawing, this lesson shouldn’t be too bad. Instead of drawing out the whole body of the realistic lion, I decided that a portrait view would be much better. I like to work in pieces. What I mean by that is, when I do a drawing on a subject that I don’t have too much experience with, I will draw the object, animal, or person in pieces. I will get good at one part of the subject to be drawn, and then when I fell that I can draw the entire body, I will draw everything at once. That is how I got better at drawing. I embraced my strengths, and worked with my weaknesses until they too where my strengths as well. I guess that’s it. You should enjoy yourself with this submission on "how to draw a realistic lion". Remember to use a proper drawing tool to achieve the goal you desire. I will be back folks with one more tutorial for you all to tackle. Peace out people, and have an awesome drawing day.
