How to Draw a Peace Dragonfly

Start off by drawing the guidelines and shapes for your dragonfly like you see here.

You will now draw the dragonfly's body in full form and as you can see it looks a lot like a golf tee. Add the eyes as well as the ridged lines on the neck.

Dragonflies have two sets of wings. You will draw the first set in this step followed by the ribbed veins throughout the wings.

Draw the other set of wings and then repeat the detailing process.

Lastly, draw out and color in a peace symbol. Make sure the dragonfly is in the center of the middle line of the symbol. If there are mistakes or visible guides erase them now.

That's it, you are done. Now you can add your own color to our lesson.

Today I will start the day by uploading this beautiful, simple tutorial on how to draw a peace dragonfly, step by step. I wanted to do a dragonfly within the peace symbol because Summer is just around the corner and here in the North, dragonflies will be out and about. I love the simple design concept to this peace symbol and I know many of you will have a blast drawing a dragonfly within peace.
