Step 1. Guidelines

Let's go ahead and draw the guidelines for the butterfly shape. Sketch them lightly!

Go ahead and draw the butterfly's head and the antennae.

Let's then shift our focus on the butterfly body. Don't forget the pattern inside of it.

Go ahead and draw the butterfly wings, starting with the upper set first and then the lower.

Go ahead and lightly sketch in the wing detailing.

Lastly, draw the peace symbol behind the butterfly.

This is what you should end up with once everything has been sketched out. Awesome job!
