How to Draw a Halloween Dragon, Halloween Dragon

You will start by making a round shape for the dragon's head and then draw a connecting neck line as well as another circle shape.

You will now draw out the witch style hat for your dragon like so. For me I chose to go with a tilted or tipped design, and also make sure to draw in the creases and detailing lines.

Here you will draw out the actual shape of the dragon's head and face. There is pointed frills on the left side like you can see here and there is also a small bump for the chin.

Draw in the almond shapes of the eyes like so, and then draw the eyeballs. You will draw the snout and notice how I sketched it to look like a turtle.

Draw the thick shaped neck, and then make the chest and some of the cape. The band around the neck is in a point and it is also a one pieced neck collar for simplicity.

Draw the shoulders, legs, and toes like so, and notice how I make them stout and stocky.

You are almost done with your Halloween style dragon. What you will do now is draw out the back legs, feet, and then the wings. Notice how the dragon is in a simple stance or pose.

Draw the tail, and then draw in more of the cape that covers the back of tail. Erase the mistakes and guides you made along the way, and you are all done.

Here is the finished line art when you are all done with your sketch. Now you can have fun coloring in your work, or leave it how you see it here. Either way you win.

Description: How could I approach Halloween without making a tutorial on "how to draw a Halloween dragon", step by step? Here is my take on how an adorable dragon dressed up as a witch would look like. If you want you can either label this dragon a witch or warlock. As you know warlocks and witches wear almost the same attire. I had a lot of fun drawing this dragon and I know that you will enjoy yourself as you learn the ropes to making a Halloween style dragon. The design concept is awesome, and the best part about it is how easy it’s going to be to replicate such an epic dragon. I guess that is all I can say about this tutorial, I mean what else can I say about a Halloween dragon except have fun and enjoy yourself. Thanks guys and be back soon.
