1

Make a simple oval shape for the guide shape of the pumpkin, and then draw in the facial guidelines.

2

Sketch out the actual shape of the pumpkin like so, and notice how the bumps are layered.

3

For the third step, draw in the long, creepy stem of the pumpkin top, and then move to step four.

4

Using the face guides, draw in the evil looking eyes, and then draw some dashes for the nose. Draw the crooked or zigzag style mouth.

5

I don't know why but, I chose to make these tentacle like legs which is supposed to attach to a host. When you're done erase the mistakes and guides and move along to see how your drawing should look.

Whala, here is how your pumpkin head looks when you are all done. Color it in, or place it on the top of your horse rider. Thanks and great work.

Description: Here is one more tutorial on another Halloween based object. So far I have drawn, and uploaded some pretty cool stuff that is being enjoyed by folks from around the globe. Up next is a tutorial that can be used for many things and if you are a real creative person, you might find that this is an awesome idea for the head of the Headless horseman. I was going to make a tutorial on the Headless horseman, but then I thought, nah, I’ll just make a pumpkin head instead. So here it is “how to draw a pumpkin head”, step by step. The face is menacing, mean, and no nonsense. You can choose to draw a friendly looking pumpkin head, but if you do that than you can’t very well turn this head into a creepy, scary figure. The tutorial is going to be pretty simple so be sure to let others know what you think of it. I will be back later with one more submission, and I promise it has nothing to do with Halloween. Oh wait, yes it does.
