How to Draw a Cartoon Jaguar

1

You will start the first step by drawing some shapes. The smallest is for the head, then the torso and back end follows. Next, add some limb lines then sketch in the facial guide.

2

The next thing you will do is draw out the shape of the head which is probably as close to drawing a Pride Rock lioness as you're gonna get. The shapes of the ears, cheeks, and chin should all be drawn in the same manner.

3

Here you will add the detailing and definition inside of the ears. Once that is done, start drawing out the shapes of the eyes. As you can see the eye lines are very thick and or bold. Sketch out the lining to form the snout or bridge of the nose, th

Okay, so the face is all done which means we will start working on the body. Start with the high arched back line as well as the shoulder blade arch. The legs should be sketched out to form nicely shaped limbs, as well as chink style toes on each paw

5

You will now draw out the back end for your cartoon jaguar. Make sure the end line shapes out to be the butt part of the jaguars rear. Draw in the thighs and back paw like so. You will end this step by adding the belly, and by sketching in some defin

Almost completely draw out the last leg and paw, then draw out the long tail. Jaguar have similar tails to that of the tiger and lionesses. Male lions have tufts of hair on the ends or tips of their tails.

7

Now since jaguar love hiding out and relaxing in trees, I decided to draw my cartoon jaguar up in a tree looking down from a thick or extremely strong jungle branch. As you can see the branch of the tree is swervey, but that makes it more interesting

8

You will take your time drawing out all the spots, but before you do that, you have to erase the mistakes and guides first. Once that is complete, you can begin with adding all the nonuniform spotting.

9

When all is done your cartoon jaguar should come out looking like, or similar to the one you see here. Of course everyone is at a different skill level when it comes to drawing, which means not everyone's drawing will look the same.

Description: I'm keeping up with the cartoon animal drawings and lessons, so here is "how to draw a cartoon jaguar", step by step. Jaguars have got to be one of my favorite big cats besides the lion, panther, and tiger. If you really think about it, they look like a cross between the panther, cheetah, and lion. The body build is muscular which means this cartoon panther is most likely a male. Of you want a female jaguar, all you have to do is draw the body a bit slender. All in all you should be able to tackle the task of drawing a cartoon jaguar. I will place this tutorial under intermediate difficulty because there is some tricky lining. Adios people and enjoy!
