How to Draw a Bird Wing

Next, draw additional guide lines for the coverts. Notice how the primary coverts (near the outer edge of the wing) are fanned out in different directions, as indicated by the arrows.
3
Now, fill in the coverts. The primary and secondary coverts (the two different curves you just drew) should be distinct from each other. Make sure the primary coverts are fanned out!
4
Now it's time to draw the primary and secondary flight feathers. Draw the guide lines, and make them separate by drawing a straight line between the two curves.
6
Fill in the primaries and secondaries. Primaries are more pointed, while secondaries are rounded at the end. Be careful to make the feathers overlap correctly!
7
Now it's time to draw the tertials! Draw a triangular shape at the base of the wing, and erase the stuff inside the triangle.
