How to Draw Yang Xiao From RWBY

Make a series of circles for the formation of this character design. Start with the head and torso guides, then draw the facial guidelines in as well.

Sketch out the shape of the face like so, then draw in the thick bangs.

You will now focus your attention on drawing the eyes, eyebrows, and then the nose and mouth. Don't leave this step without drawing the ears too.

Here you will sketch out the thick scarf that is neatly wrapped around Yang's neck. When that is done add the detailing to the scarf to give it that loose thick texture.

Next, sketch out the shape of the collar from her jacket, then draw in the large puffy shoulders and or shoulder pads. Notice how you will have to detail the sleeves a bit.

Draw the arms along with the cuffs on each arm, then sketch out the shape of her torso or waist.

You are almost done just a little more to go. Up next, sketch out the bust line as well as her cleavage, then draw the pin stripe border along the collar of the jacket. When that is done you can add the small buttons and then add the seam line which

And finally, draw the long wavy hair that flows nicely down her back. Yang has hair that reminds me of Princess Peach's hair. Erase all the mistakes and then you are done.

Description: Here is the last character that I will submit from the RWBY anime web series. This blonde headed character looks a little bit different then her friends because of her attire. Up next and lastly we will tackle the task of learning "how to draw Yang Xiao", step by step. Yang is very smart and very witty. She has blonde hair (as I mentioned), and she wears a tight form fitting jacket that has ruffled shoulders and hugs her waist pretty good. The big scarf that she wears around her neck looks more like a small blanket because of how much area the scarf takes up. Yang should be pretty easy to replicate and I feel confident that you will all to a great job. I have to go but I shall return.
