How to Draw Chibi Ruby Rose From RWBY

Step 1.


First, draw a circle for the head and then draw in the guides for the face, and body.

Step 2.


Next, draw in chibi Ruby's hairstyle which is short, layered and styled very neatly.

Step 3.


Define the shape of Ruby's face, then you can proceed on to the next step.

Step 4.


Draw big, bold expressive eyes like so. When you draw the lids for the eyes make sure that the lining is very thick, chunky and the lashes be very bold. Add eyebrows and a small mouth.

Step 5.


We will now draw chibi Ruby's clothing. Start with the collar, and then draw the sleeves, torso and ruffled dress.

Step 6.


We will now draw in the small hands and then the trim on her dress. Add the cross stitching on her upper body and then add a belt with a small button.

Step 7.


Add the length of the cape and then draw the small, stubby chibi legs. Draw the boot lines and then you can proceed to erase your mistakes.

Step 8.


That's it. You are all done drawing chibi Ruby and I bet you did a great job. Color her in and show folks who you just drew from RWBY.

I love how Ruby ended out looking. She has her traditional looking traits along with her style.
