Description: Okay Spidy fans, this tutorial is going to be on how to draw Venom, Spider Man’s inner dark self. This is probably one of the coolest comic book characters from Marvel comics. He is raw, black, and filled with evil with that massively long slithering tongue. Now Venom is an alien symbiote with an intense hatred for Spider Man. I can tell you what I know about this character from the Spider Man 3 movie. If you all seen Spider Man 3 than you all know how this half alien half man creature was formed, but just to do a quick recap lets talk about it now. It all started when a meteor crashed on earth from an unknown planet in outer space. While Peter Parker and Mary Jane where looking at the stars the black substance crawls out of its shell and attaches itself to Peter’s moped. According to Marvel the alien part of this evil villain is called Symbiote, which is an extra terrestrial parasite. What these alien parasites usually do is find a host, dominate the host, and eventually kill it, which is why they play musical chairs with several different hosts. But in Venoms case it was totally different, the symbiote that took over didn’t want to dominate and kill its host instead it wanted to bond with it and live amongst it. Now because Venom was so different from the others he was looked down upon from other symbiote species, which also led him to be captured and imprisoned so that his views and idea’s wouldn’t spread throughout the race. Let’s get back to how this affected Peter Parker, one night while Peter was asleep, the black thick mass oozed over Spider-Man and covered him like his old costume had. When he awoke it was like nothing had ever happened. One day while wearing the suit Spider-Man noticed that the symbiote increased his physical abilities, made its own powerful webbing, and could change its appearance. Super Man decided to keep the new black Spidy suit for the time being and all was good for a while, but when ever Peter wore the suit under his clothes he noticed that his personality had changed, he just didn’t feel like himself. He eventually gets rid of the suit and the symbiote finds a new host Eddie Brock. Venom is reborn again. The series goes on and on and Venom finds new host over time. Marvel did a good job with this character because even though he is evil, it still just wants to belong and be accepted. This tutorial will show you how to draw Venom step by step. I drew the web lines all over Venom because I thought I would give his appearance a slight twist. I hope you enjoy this tutorial and I will see you all very soon once again.
