How to Draw the Grinch For Kids

Step 1.


Begin by making the head guide followed by the facial guidelines.

Step 2.


Grinch has a head and face shape like an upside down acorn. Add some fluff on the cheeks then proceed to step three.

Step 3.


Up next, fill that gap on the top of his head with a thick perky curl or chunk of hair. Notice the hair has three tips and are of different shape and length

Step 4.


Grinch also has very thick, shaggy and long eyebrows that are consistently in an angry or grumpy expression. Once you draw in the eyebrows you can then add the small nose followed by the crinkle between the brows.

Step 5.


Almost done people. Add the forehead creases, then draw in the circle shaped eyeballs and pupils then add the cheek bumps that are just under the bottom parts of the eye.

Step 6.


Here you will now draw in Grinch's signature grin. Once that is complete you can erase your mistakes and guides.

Step 7.


The line art is finished. All that's left to do is the addition of color.
